Lorianne Willett is a photojournalist born in Tucson, Arizona and currently based in Austin, Texas. She focuses on sports and music journalism, but enjoys telling stories from surrounding communities.
Lorianne got her first camera from her parents when she was 7 years old. In the 14 years since then, she has pursued photography with the utmost intent, capturing the lives and memories of those around her.
Lorianne is pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with a minor in Global Sustainability at the University of Texas at Austin. Her work has been published by The Guardian and TIME Magazine, with one of her photos being chosen for TIME’s Top 100 Photos of 2024.
Currently, she is a Photo Fellow at The Texas Tribune. She has worked as the Photo Editor at The Daily Texan and as a photo intern for KUT and Texas Connect.
